Our bingo volunteers sign up to work at the Castledowns, Kensington and Fort Road bingo halls. Volunteers are able to choose a preference between working in the office, or as an usher selling cards on the floor. Ushers are responsible for callbacks of bingos to the bingo caller, and for selling cards or balls to players. However, Kensington bingo hall allows two volunteers who are 16 or older to sell Bonanza cards. The last few years have seen the Community League use bingos, casinos and our family night activities at West Edmonton Mall to raise needed funds. South Clareview Community Leagues funds its programs working bingos under the Alberta Gaming and Liquor Corporation rules. Bingo volunteers work on behalf of family members who are involved in one of our programs.

NEBA operates a fall and winter youth basketball program. We do not offer a spring league or summer program at this time. Kensington Bingo Hall is a 100% non-profit organization that was incorporated under the Societies Act on July 25, 1985. It is made up of 37 Non-profit charities with the majority of its proceeds benefiting the youth and seniors of Edmonton and surrounding area. Our clubs also reach out to at minimum an additional 50 non-profit organizations.
